Forum Marketplace of Ideas

Welcome to the Forum Marketplace of Ideas

This is where you immerse yourself in conversation, talk with our sponsor exhibitors, grab a seat in the lounge, and engage in some hands-on active learning. With a conference as large and diverse as The Forum, attendees are spread among numerous workshops covering the many important aspects of diversity and inclusion. Created in the spirit of ancient community spaces, the Forum Marketplace is the center of activity. It is the conference hub where participants can come together to download what they’ve learned, exchange ideas, and gather together for inspiration.

Art and Wellness

As we begin to realize we are stuck in old approaches that no longer serve us, our employees or our customers, leaning into creativity can offer a new perspective on current day challenges. Art has the ability to bring people together. It can influence our work by changing opinions, instilling values and translating experiences across space and time. And being mindful of personal wellness increases our ability to respond to the needs of others and demands of our work. This year’s Marketplace provides wellness stations and art installations, both of which are new convening options to reflect and/or connect with others through self-guided dialogue or hands on activities. Art fosters global connections and can help you communicate across cultures.

Rest, Recharge and Rejuvenate Breaks

Day 2 and 3 Breaks

Self-care fuels us with the energy and endurance necessary to stay committed to our work, and engage in positive productive ways. For personal well-being between scheduled sessions and events, take time out in Marketplace lounge spaces for casual conversation or relaxation. Make time for a twenty-minute walk, ten-minute chair massage or retreat to the quiet zone for a short power nap. Treat yourself to a one-minute energizer activity or visit Stretch and Connect spaces for a facilitated group session. You may also choose to visit one of our local or global artisan booths for some good old retail therapy. Whatever your preference make time to rest, recharge, and rejuvenate to make the most of your Forum experience.
