Scholarships

Who Is Eligible?

If you are a student, unemployed individual, or an employee of a nonprofit or for-profit organization with a budget of $5 million or less, you may apply for a scholarship to attend the Annual Conference, April 10-12, 2018. Verification is required. Scholarships are awarded in the order they are received by the Forum office.

What is available?

Thanks to a generous sponsorship by Bremer Bank and Mayo Clinic, scholarships are available for individuals to attend the conference at no charge.

Day 1 scholarships ($495 value): 14 available
Day 2 and 3 scholarship ($1,395 value): 10 available

For scholarship recipients, additional days to attend the conference can be purchased for a reduced fee as follows:
Day 1 reduced fee: $200
Day 2 and 3 reduced fee: $500

Scholarships will not cover the Twin Cities Tours and 30th Anniversary Celebration.

What happens if I am awarded a scholarship?

Upon approval of a scholarship you will receive a special discount code by email to register online. The reduced fee Forum Scholarship registration must be paid in full prior to conference registration. Do not register prior to receiving this code. Awardees will be notified as applications are received and verified.

What if I miss the deadline?

Please consider volunteering at The Forum! This is a great way to lend a hand and be able to attend select portions of the conference at no charge. Meals and a Forum t-shirt are also provided to volunteers – it’s a lot of fun and a great way to network too.

Other Considerations

  • Scholarships are awarded until funds are no longer available.
  • If you receive a reduced fee scholarship but do not attend, you are still responsible for the fee. Substitutions are allowed. See the Scholarship Application for details and deadlines.
  • Scholarships cannot be used for the University of St. Thomas or other degree programs.
