Description
Transforming an organization requires a transformation within its leadership. How do you create a truly transformative experience for leaders in regard to racial equity? The Itasca Project, the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, and the Thrivent Corporation partnered to create the format, an in-person Annual Executive Cohort and an online dashboard. The cohort follows a pathway of deep and disruptive conversation focused on diversity, culture, bias, racism, and inclusion. The dashboard promotes data-driven decision-making, accountability, and transparency, and facilitates communication.
Come to this session to learn what we’ve learned after our second year of implementation, and hear the experiences of an executive participant. Learn the keys to creating the space needed for leaders to advance their knowledge, skills, and commitment regarding diversity and inclusion; and how to select, collect, and share indicators of change for maximum impact.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the keys for developing a cross-sector executive-level learning cohort to advance racial equity.
- Learn how one CEO employed the lessons learned within the cohort to advance racial equity in their organization.
- Learn how the dashboard was developed, how to select indicators, and the power of both to measure, guide, and motivate change.
