Description

The diversity tech company Aleria and the City College of New York have recently joined forces on an initiative for the Quantitative Studies of Diversity and Inclusion (QSDI), combining more than 20 years of industry experience in applied analytics and three decades of academic research. The QSDI research is based on a scientific discipline known as Complexity Science, which uses computer simulations to capture the behaviors of individuals in an organization and their interactions with each other and with their environment. This methodology makes it possible to quantify the impact of increasing the diversity and inclusion of an organization, and how this increases its performance.

This workshop introduces the methodology, provides hands-on exposure to the software, shows real-world case studies, and describes how QSDI will revolutionize workplace inclusion by quantifying the link between diversity and the performance of an organization.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn a new way to understand diversity from a person-centric viewpoint.
  • Explore a software platform that helps take the guesswork out of diversity and inclusion.
  • Acquire the knowledge you need to make a business case for linking diversity to company performance.
