Description

Although we live in a 21st century global society, we have yet to create a standard to define and assess skills inclusive of the next generation of leaders. More often than not, organizations require individuals to fit into the organizational culture as opposed to expand the capacity of the norm. This process inherently goes against the grain of innovation and collaboration, two competencies that generate growth in any organization.

In this workshop, participants learn how to identify the essential 21st century skills in a global society. Participants will learn how they can generate a more comprehensive assessment of a person’s ability, based on both learned and lived experiences, by acknowledging that individuals from traditionally marginalized communities bring key competencies when translated into an organization’s context. This interactive and practical session will leave you inspired and provide practical tools based on the concept of Cultural Resilience.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Apply innovative techniques and tools that help connect organization’s goals with skill set of digital natives.
  • Inspire participant’s energy and excitement to take on identifying the brilliance of the next generation of leaders.
  • Learn how the next generation of leaders are utilizing their diverse experiences to innovate and lead in the world.
