Description

People largely understand the potential of technology to make great strides toward more diversity and inclusion, and they often feel compelled to incorporate some digital component into their offerings (practitioners) or into their strategy (organizations). Yet far too often, we are seeing that digital content is just the same content that is delivered on a digital platform. And while this may be a more efficient delivery mechanism, it does not realize the promise and the potential of the rapidly developing technology.

All the presenters in this session are working toward innovating digital offerings in order to truly “power the future” of increasing workplace inclusion. Each of the four presenters will explain innovations they have implemented, outcomes and lessons learned, and directions they are thinking about for the short and long-term future of utilizing cutting edge technology for real change.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand how targeted and innovative technology solutions can enhance D&I efforts in organizations, including their own.
  • Distinguish specific ways to assess the potential of technology to address challenging aspects of D&I education and training.
  • Identify do’s and don’ts for incorporating a digital component into a blended strategy for diversity and inclusion efforts.
