Description

Linking and aligning the organization’s strategic business objectives with diversity and inclusion processes is the only credible way to achieve the organization’s vision and strategy. Value stream thinking is a fundamental process for diversity and inclusion (D&I) professionals who want to learn how to ensure their D&I initiatives drive ROI-based business successes. Without it, D&I professionals fail to develop measurable diversity and inclusion ROI-based outcomes that meet C-suite’s expectations. Value stream analysis and mapping provides the means for D&I professionals and leadership to define strategic improvements to the business workflow.

This interactive session will use a case study approach where participant teams apply the step-by-step methodology to make certain their diversity and inclusion initiatives include value stream thinking to drive measureable, systemic change and impact.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Using a case study approach, participant teams will apply value stream analysis and mapping to a current inclusion initiative.
  • Calculate three value stream analysis and mapping-based analytics that reflect inclusion ROI impact.
  • Learn how diversity and inclusion value stream analysis and mapping demonstrate tangible value that meets stakeholder financial and other expectations.
