3-hour Seminars

Day 1

Session Code: SEM-G
When: April 10, 2018
Location/Room: 200 CD
Level: Intermediate
Track: Innovation & Transformation
Presenter: Margaret Regan, The FutureWork Institute, Inc.

Description

Take a visual journey into the future with our D&I futurist to see how the workplace and workforce will change over the next 10 years. What will careers look like with artificial intelligence, Freetainers, Anybots, ESIs and the evaporating office? How will we handle talent management and D&I as Generation Y and Z become the majority and define both work and D&I differently? See examples of how some organizations are catching the wave today with innovative programs that apply artificial intelligence to hiring processes and focus on a multidimensional integrated change process.

This interactive multimedia presentation, including a trip into virtual reality, will focus on current D&I challenges and opportunities and what you need to do to see the future so you can embrace the future in a VUCA world. Identify the top three future trends facing your organization. Discuss what your responses would look like if your D&I work were focused on the future, broader in your definitions, and deeper in your dialogues as you move from a plethora of programs to a commitment to systemic culture change.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain insight into the future of the workplace and workforce from a futurist perspective and its implications for D&I.
  • Change recruitment, hiring, and talent management processes to leverage technology and reflect the needs of Gen Y and Gen Z.
  • Learn from best practices of organizations that have seen the future and implemented innovative responses.
