Description

The public dialogue happening about sexual harassment, sexual assault and gender-based power dynamics in the workplace have many of our clients talking about what they can and should do. Trina and Alfonso, the presenters for this seminar, are a cross-race, cross-gender, queer training team.

Through these perspectives, they have developed an intersectionality-grounded training that doesn’t run from sexuality—but rather, creates opportunities to discuss and address the myriad of ways that gender, sexuality, power and privilege dynamics are playing out in real life at work every day.

Participants of this training will leave with tangible tools and guides for moving your own team forward, including sample policies, protocols and new practices to try out.

Learning Outcomes
  1. Experience how to closely inventory and investigate the cultural patterns of your current work environment
  2. Learn the important distinctions between sex, gender and sexuality
  3. Develop a tangible roadmap to guide next steps toward a more equitable and inclusive workplace
