Description

The public dialogue happening about sexual harassment, sexual assault and gender-based power dynamics in the workplace has many of us talking about what we can and should do. As a cross-race, cross-gender, queer training team, Team Dynamics is ready to tackle these questions.

We have developed an intersectionally grounded training that doesn’t run from sexuality—but rather, creates opportunities to discuss and address the myriad ways that gender, sexuality, power and privilege are playing out in real life at your workplace.

Participants of this session will leave with tangible tools, new language and innovative methods for moving your team forward—aligning your values of gender equity with your workplace practices. This training is particularly designed for folks thinking BEYOND compliance—curious about creating work environments that are increasingly inclusive across gender and sexuality.

Learning Outcomes
  • Explore the important distinctions between sexuality, gender, and biological sex, plus why it is important NOT to conflate these concepts at work
  • Dig into the interplay between identity and positional power dynamics
  • Try tangible practices to be more inclusive
