Description

THIS SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELED.

How do mission-driven organizations walk the talk when it comes to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of their work? Learn how Amnesty International USA is building a bigger, bolder, and more inclusive human rights movement and organization inside and out, and how you can make Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) core to your comprehensive organizational transformation strategy as well. Though we will discuss the unique challenges and opportunities for mission-driven organizations, the learnings can be applied to any organizational context.

We will provide tangible examples and practical strategies of how we embed IDEA into everything we do, including our internal culture and systems, and the way we do our human rights work itself to ensure our IDEA strategy goes beyond human resources and training—and instead serves as the guiding principle for organizational development and culture change aimed to build a strong, inclusive foundation for the future.

Learning Outcomes
  • Develop new insights into the synergy between IDEA, strategic innovation and culture change
  • Identify ways to strengthen your organization’s mission and purpose through IDEA work
  • Learn and co-create practical strategies to holistically integrate IDEA in your organization
