Description
For many organizations, the journey to diversify their workforce begins at the beginning with who they hire. While programmatic efforts like diversity recruitment, inclusive job descriptions, and diverse slates are meaningful preliminary steps, these approaches alone have often failed to produce the intended results—hiring more women and diverse candidates.
Nielsen—the global measurement and analytics company best known for the iconic Nielsen TV ratings—launched an end-to-end pilot transformation of our hiring process as one of many actions to achieve a goal of gender parity in leadership by 2025. This interactive session will be an unvarnished immersion into our Inclusive Hiring pilot, including detailed steps we took to increase inclusion and equity, and manage biases at each stage.
We’ll share what worked and what didn’t, and foster a learning dialogue among session participants about how everyone can increase inclusion and equity in hiring at their organizations.
