Description
In the broader diversity conversation, disability inclusion often takes a back seat. Companies account for race, gender and orientation in their D&I strategy, but are not actively working to incorporate disabilities—either as an oversight, or because they don’t know how.
As experts in disability inclusion and active members of Disability:IN, we’ll engage attendees in a candid discussion focused on the responsibilities, challenges and opportunities that organizations face in broadening their point of view to incorporate disability inclusion. We’ll explore solutions to meet universal needs, encompassing the dynamics and dimensions of multifaceted diversity. This session will feature an interactive panel of leading practitioners from disability inclusion best-practice companies, as well as a facilitated roundtable discussion designed to enable attendees to analyze and assess their organizations’ commitments to disability inclusion.
