Description

In the face of exponential demands for change impacting on every industry—to do more with less, to be agile and innovate at an ever-accelerating rate—a unique opportunity has emerged: to leverage inclusion to respond to these demands and optimize business performance and innovation. This is about recognizing that effective leadership is inclusive leadership in the current business environment and that the soft skills leaders require to succeed have become the hard skills of today.

Symmetra and Unilever will present a story of how we embarked on a journey to change a culture 20 years in the making: positioning Unilever to respond to disruption effectively by leveraging inclusion. We will present a 2 1/2-year journey that one small global division of Unilever has embarked on, the challenges and impact on optimizing business, customer and people outcomes, and how this courageous journey has influenced the overall approach of Unilever to future-proof their leaders and organization.
