Description

Are you exploring how to incorporate wellness and support healing for BIPOC individuals at your organization? Are you noticing BIPOC individuals being over-extended in response to the current times? With ongoing challenges due to race and marginalization, wellness spaces within ERGs and affinity groups are needed more than ever.

During our session, learn best practices of organizations that have successfully integrated programming that centers and supports the BIPOC experience within the workplace. Session presenters will share case studies and examples from corporations and higher education institutions that have incorporated wellness initiatives within their ERGs, DEI, and larger organizational strategies. Participants will take part in an immersive healing experience that will model how to support an exploration of one’s own healing journey.

Learning Outcomes

• Learn how to incorporate and facilitate wellness and healing in affinity group spaces
• Support BIPOC within organizations to address needs specific to marginalized groups (e.g., trauma)
• Further the success of DEI initiatives through incorporating wellness into organizational strategy
