Description

The role ERGs play in holding together employees from across teams and departments, in the face of disruptions and crises, is phenomenal. Amidst shifting business priorities, ERGs ensure that the aspirations and voices of diverse talent are heard. Just like organizations that sail through challenging times often do so because of resilient strategy pursued by executive leadership teams, the success of ERGs during disruptive times also depends significantly on the intentional pursuit of the ERG leadership team.

This workshop will explore the critical role ERG leaders and members play in achieving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) objectives. This session will help participants to understand the opportunities for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion at both the individual and organizational level. Set against a backdrop of successful ERG practices in organizations based out of India and the U.S., this session will help practitioners understand how the most successful ERGs work.

Learning Outcomes

• Inspire ERG leaders to become effective change agents and critical voices in fostering a diverse workplace
• Enable leaders to identify potential challenges and roadblocks that may be encountered in the ERG
• Empower ERG leaders to drive the functioning of ERGs with a strategic mindset
