Description

Leaders have teams full of people with identities and experiences that they don’t share. Effective leadership, therefore, requires the ability to be an ally with folks whose challenges and struggles you don’t share. Dr. David Campt and his long-time friend and thought partner, Matthew Freeman, will share their learnings from years of workshops, writings, and lectures on the essential components of allyship.

We will focus on the four C’s of allyship: candor, compassion, courage, and confession. This workshop will highlight theory but focus on practical tools and skills you can bring to your team and organization.

Learning Outcomes

• Understand how leadership and allyship are connected
• Learn the four C’s of allyship—candor, compassion, courage, and confession
• Identify your personal strengths and areas for growth as it relates to allyship
