In 2020, racism was declared a public health crisis by state and local government. Yet a poll conducted by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota found that less than half of Minnesotans agree.
Angel Uddin, director of Diversity and Inclusion at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, will talk about the journey that Blue Cross has been on, how organizations can educate their employees on this issue, and steps they can take to make their policies, systems, and environment anti-racist.
