THE LAB

  • At The Forum, we know some of the most impactful learning happens outside the scheduled programming and agenda.
  • The Lab is a place where people can meet-up to revisit a sparked desire to further explore compelling topics.
  • Whether meeting one to one, in small groups or think tanks, participants will find the space and tools needed to stimulate big possibilities thinking and engage around how to best combine forces for maximized impact.

THE OASIS

  • The Oasis provides space to rest, restore, or reset throughout the day.
  • Situated in a corner space with natural lighting, anti gravity chairs, yoga mats, meditation cushions, and prayer rugs.
  • Technology-free zone close enough to the activity to be convenient for short breaks yet remote enough to provide restoration for as long as desired.

THE MARKETPLACE

  • Vast array of resources to support you in the continuation of your DEI learning and development.
  • Advice, tools, activities, self-guided exploration, skilled practitioners to help your organization reach next level DEI goals.
  • Join us for The Marketplace reception Tuesday evening, showcasing innovative strategies for advancing equity in your work and world.

DIVERSITY EXECUTIVE FORUM

  • Place and space for those charged with leading and implementing DEI strategies to come together in collegial fashion to learn with and from each other.
  • Designed as a “conference within a conference” — participants can self-select areas of interest for focused, small group exploration and dialogue around topics most relevant at the current stage of their DEI leadership.
  • The Diversity Executive Forum (DEF) is by invitation only.

COACHING

  • Participate in one of 18 small group coaching sessions over two days in-person or three days on Virtual+ .
  • DEI subject matter experts lead sessions to provide outcome-focused assistance you can apply immediately in the workplace.
  • Seats are limited to 20 participants per session.

OFF SITE EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

  • New for 2023 — Field trips!
  • Day 1 of the 2023 Forum will offer a new type of learning in the form of 3-5 hour immersive sessions outside the conference venue in Twin Cities locations specific to the topic of learning.
  • Highly participatory experiential sessions will be led by skilled presenters around three topics: Native American History, Religion and Race.

  • New for 2023! Exciting opportunity for professionals from across industries to come together and imagine the possibilities of combining forces to maximize DEI impact.
  • At times, the work of advancing DEI within organizations–and even within industries–can feel isolating. Many feel siloed in their efforts to find new solutions for decades-old challenges while keeping pace with constant and rapid change.
  • Think Tanks are Day 2 and Day 3 of the conference.
