Description
In this session, we will discuss the importance and impact of psychological safety and how it affects the conversations we have and how we have them.
Using a range of perspectives based on panel members’ lived experiences and expertise, we will then learn how we can leverage existing models and build new ones to create authentic, vulnerable, harm-free spaces to engage in conversations that advance inclusion and equity.
Learning Outcomes:
• Describe the importance of psychological safety in the workplace and appreciate the need for a strong, inclusive workplace culture
• Imagine and plan for new opportunities to engage in bold, inclusive conversations
• Implement specific actions to enhance psychological safety by creating brave spaces for bold, inclusive conversations
