The Forum on Workplace Inclusion 2020 Diversity Award Winners Announced

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — February 17, 2020 — The Forum on Workplace Inclusion (The Forum) has announced recipients of the 2020 Diversity Awards, which are

  • Friend of The Forum Award – Destiny Xiong, Human Resource Generalist, City of Minneapolis
  • Winds of Change Award – Subha Barry, President, Working Mother Media
  • Winds of Change Award – Scott Fearing, Manager of Diversity Education, University of Rochester
  • Power the Future Award – Melanie Muñoz,Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Senior Consultant, The Kaleidoscope Group

“Every year it is a privilege to read award nominations from people around the world. And every year, it becomes more difficult to choose. This year is no exception–we are very excited with our 2020 recipients,” said Forum Executive Director, Steve Humerickhouse.

Recipients of the awards are recognized at The Forum’s annual conference on the main stage during the closing general session. Awards will be presented by Lisa J. Massa, Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources U.S. of Bayer. Recipients are also recognized on The Forum’s website and through communications to its large national and international network of professionals.

The Diversity Awards program is one of many components at The Forum’s annual conference – the largest workplace DEI conference in the USA. This year’s annual conference, themed Facing Forward, is scheduled for March 10-12, 2019 located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Registration opens December 2019. Since 2008, The Form’s Diversity Awards Program recognizes individuals or organizations showcasing exemplary insight and fortitude in the area of workplace diversity. Nominations are submitted for individuals, organizations, or a group within an organization such as an Employee Resource Group, Diversity Council, or Business Resource.
