On August 11-12, every ilk of the “alt white”, Klansmen, fascists, white supremacists, invaded the small, progressive, college city of Charlottesville, VA and the University of Virginia. The name has become synonymous with racial strife. Join university, city, and county leaders as they share and assess what happened.
Compelling questions we addressed at this event: What happened and why did it happen? How did the “alt-white” pull it off? How can your institutions and localities prevent these sieges of hatred?
