In August 2017, white supremacists demonstrated in Charlottesville, Virginia, leading to clashes with those opposed to them and bringing disruption and death to this otherwise quiet town. But who are these people, the white supremacists? Hear from Deeyah Khan, the Pakistani/Norwegian documentary film maker, who followed the supremacists throughout the protests to record their views and beliefs. Joining Khan on stage, hear too from a former white supremacist and the son of a victim of a white supremacist attack who now work together to find forgiveness. Author, executive coach and radio personality, Roshini Rajkumar will interview each of them.
Note: Video portions of the original documentary have been blocked due to licensing and copyright restrictions.
Learning Pillar: How can we effectively address the gaps in values and beliefs that are causing toxicity at work?
