Adriana Temali-Smith serves as diversity and inclusion administrator at Dakota County where she leads its diversity, inclusion, and equity programs. She is the leader of the Dakota County racial equity team and is passionate about narrowing the opportunity gaps which persist across the state of Minnesota.

Adriana is a native Minnesotan who immigrated to the United Kingdom after graduating with her BA from the University of Colorado. She spent a decade as a diversity and inclusion specialist at one of the largest and most diverse community colleges in southeast England, where she oversaw programs supporting employee and student equity and inclusion. During this time, she led her organization in receiving the Investors in Diversity award from the National Centre for Diversity.

In 2016, Adriana repatriated to Minnesota and joined Dakota County. She is a skilled trainer and presenter who holds an MA in human resource management from Canterbury Christ Church University.
