Adrianna Flax

Principal Consultant

Company: adriannaflax.com
Role: Session Presenter

Adrianna Flax is a dynamic speaker, consultant, and executive coach with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has developed cutting-edge DEI curriculum, focused on revolutionizing how we think about and navigate conflict. Leveraging her social justice background, Adrianna challenges the concept of conflict resolution, instead asking listeners to consider conflict revolution. She encourages listeners to consider their workplaces as communities, creating shared responsibility for addressing harms and learning new strategies for navigating conflict.

She is a veteran of the nonprofit sector in both New York and Nashville, Tenn., where she built a foundation of understanding the experiences of underrepresented communities. Working to disrupt cycles of poverty and provide historically excluded young people access to college, Adrianna developed a keen awareness of the social dynamics that create and perpetuate marginalization. She uses these experiences and her own intersectional identity to inform her consulting practice, speak to a broad array of audiences, and provide DEI executive coaching.

Adrianna is a Jewish Latina and proudly part of the LGBTQ+ community. She holds a Master of Professional Studies in arts and cultural management from Pratt Institute in New York, N.Y. She is certified in DEI in the Workplace through the University of South Florida.

Adrianna lives in Nashville, Tenn., with her wife and two tiny dogs. She serves as a board member of the Nashville LGBT Chamber and the Tennessee Diversity Consortium.
