As the senior director at Culture Shift Team (CST), Adrianna Flax uses her DEI expertise, social justice background, and unique perspective to develop creative solutions and solve complex problems to serve client needs. She provides thought leadership and management within both CST’s Diversity, Inclusion and Equity division and Multicultural Marketing division.

Adrianna is a 10-year veteran of the nonprofit sector in both New York and Nashville, Tenn., working to disrupt cycles of intergenerational poverty, provide college and career access to underrepresented youth, and promote community-based arts. She served as the first executive in charge of both the YMCA Latino Achievers and Black Achievers programs in Middle Tennessee, supporting more than 500 high school students as they prepared for college and careers. She brings expertise in strategic planning, program development and evaluation, community engagement and advancement, and diversity and inclusion.

Adrianna is a Jewish Latina and proudly part of the LGBTQ+ community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in fine art from the State University of New York at New Paltz and a master’s degree in arts and cultural management from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. Adrianna supports Joist, a Nashville nonprofit empowering women and nonbinary people through trades skills training, and she serves on the board of directors of the Tennessee Diversity Consortium.
