Allison Hedrick

Allison Hedrick (she/her) is a communications professional with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. In her role at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), she manages communications for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Human Resources department. She collaborates with AIR’s employee resource groups and other internal groups to ensure alignment and to promote their activities within and outside of the institution. She is committed to creating communications that are accessible, inclusive, and culturally and linguistically appropriate. Prior to joining AIR, Allison worked in diversity recruitment, marketing, design, and communications across multiple industries.

Allison is a graduate of Virginia Tech’s College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences and the eCornell Corporate Communications program and is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP). An East Coast native, she now lives in Seattle, Wash.
