Amber Joiner-Hill

Amber Joiner-Hill, MSSW, is the owner of Magnolia Detroit Consulting LLC (MDC). Based in Chicago, Ill., MDC assists companies in building organizational capacity through services including strategic planning, program evaluation, and diversity, equity, and inclusion education. What sets MDC apart from other firms is its ability to provide consultation through a social work lens, which facilitates a human-centered approach and sustainable change.

Amber previously worked as an associate policy analyst with Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, and a Continuum of Care coordinator with the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission. She holds a Master of Science in social work from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Michigan.
