Diversity Insights Breakfast: Returning to the Work: Healing & Self-Care for DEI Practitioners

Camille Cyprian is a spiritual scholar-practitioner, certified coach, and equity practitioner, particularly passionate about the healing and well-being of individuals, communities, institutions, and systems. Camille has been recognized as one of Tomorrow’s Leaders in “O, The Oprah Magazine,” and her work has been covered in radio and print. She has presented at colleges and universities, not-for-profits, and government agencies as well as local, state, and national conferences.

Camille is the founder and healer-in-residence of Centered Spaces LLC — a container of healing justice practitioners rooted in Transformative Praxis™, a framework that she developed which incorporates intersectional healing justice into the everyday work of social change.

Camille is a doctoral student at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She earned her master’s degree in nonprofit management from Hamline University, and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota. She is also a certified coach in community healing justice and a trained professional in mind-body medicine.

She currently serves as the director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Program Strategy at the Minnesota Council on Foundations, and serves on the board of Headwaters Foundation for Justice.
