Cassandra Corey is the senior Major Gifts officer for the Human Rights Campaign. In addition to the work of soliciting and stewarding the organization’s highest engaged donors, Cassandra co-founded and leads the HRC Women LEAD program which works to increase the engagement of women and non-binary folks at donor and volunteer leadership in the movement. She is a skilled professional fundraiser who leads with a donor-centric approach to relationship building and is personally dedicated to creating donor communities where all feel welcome and valued.
Prior to HRC, Cassandra has held roles with the University of Maryland, the Smithsonian National Zoological Park, and the National Children’s Museum. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland with degrees in African American studies and communications.
