Chris Van Meter

A self-described human Swiss Army Knife, Chris Van Meter is Director of Technology at Envisionit, a digital agency based in Chicago, where he leads a team of talented developers, data scientists, and SEO experts. Moving from Denver to LA to New York – and now sweet home Chicago – he has multitasked his way across America, guiding product teams to launch complex digital experiences in the startup and agency worlds.

As a member of the LGBTQ community, Chris is committed to ensuring everyone at Envisionit feels like they belong and can be their true authentic selves when they’re at work. Chris has lead Envisionit’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiative, which is centered around iPondr @Work’s DEI learning platform and emphasizes building empathy and community into the company’s culture and core values.

When he’s not at work, he enjoys traveling with his husband, spoiling their two dogs, working on his classic car, and going out for long runs or bike rides.
