Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Chrislin Flanagan is a mother, a wife, a published author, a former business owner, and the executive director of Roseland Community Hospital (RCH) Foundation. She also manages Marketing and Community Relations for RCH. She is highly skilled in the design and implementation of programs to meet the changing needs of organizations and communities at large. Responsible for strategic development initiatives, last year Chrislin and her team serviced more than 2,000 community residents by way of resource distribution, new programs, and training efforts.

Educated through the Chicago public school system, Chrislin earned her BA in criminal justice with a minor in English from Chicago State University and an MA in human resource management from Roosevelt University — and she graduated summa cum laude in both undergraduate and graduate studies.

Chrislin’s professional career spans over 20 years with experience in various industries including banking, customer service, fintech, and healthcare. She has traveled internationally overseeing training and implementation efforts for offshore accounts. She is passionate about community service, decreasing health disparities in underserved communities for vulnerable populations, and ending poverty. She considers herself a relatable leader who is results driven.

Chrislin currently she lives in Chicago with her husband, children, and adorable puppy. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading or shopping for a good deal — especially hats and home décor. Equally, she loves to travel and has visited more than 35 states and 10 countries.
