Kate Curley, PhD, is a Learning and Development consultant at HealthPartners who focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion learning, analyses, and strategy. Before going to HealthPartners, Kate was a professor in Multicultural Leadership in the leadership minor at Eastern Michigan University and has more than 10 years of experience doing DEI work in applied contexts — with the majority in higher education.

Dr. Curley holds a BA in human development from Boston College, an MEd in college student affairs from The Pennsylvania State University, and a PhD in educational leadership from Eastern Michigan University. Their current research interests include the intersection of trans/non-binary identity and religious, secular, and spiritual identities and experiences in applied contexts.

Outside of their day job, Kate also volunteers on the board of RECLAIM, a queer and trans mental health organization in St. Paul, Minn.
