Dr. Kathy Richie is an assistant professor in the School of Business at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She holds a Doctor of Management in organizational leadership and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing management. With many years of business and teaching experience, Dr. Richie brings a unique combination of skills focused on organizational leadership, marketing, and strategic management. She is the director of MavBiz Online, an online program for working adults seeking to complete their bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Kathy’s professional expertise includes serving as a negotiator manager for a remote team at Hewlett-Packard Company. She has been responsible for ongoing corporate account relationships which include Fortune 100 multinational companies across industries such as manufacturing, automotive, telecommunications, and transportation. Her teams managed a portfolio of software licensing and hardware master agreements.
