Jesse Gutierrez

Jesse Gutierrez, MLD, is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and results-driven thought leader with more than five years of experience spanning the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) space. He is the founder and CEO of Hymn, promoting lifelong learning and unlearning via education and celebration. Currently, Jesse holds the role of employee resource group manager of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at Upwork.

Jesse embraces empathy and lifelong learning/unlearning while viewing all projects from a lens of inclusive leadership and development. Most recently, he launched a new ERG operating model and governance structure at Micron Technology. Previously, he sat on the diversity and inclusion strategy and planning team at Uber, strengthening Uber’s global ERG program, solidifying and enhancing strategic external partnerships, and consulting with key business stakeholders on DEI.
