Kara Saliba joined Mayo Clinic in 2017 as an operations specialist in Education, where she developed Mayo Clinic Arizona’s first Standardized Patient Program. In November 2019, she became the Diversity & Inclusion Program director for Arizona. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, implementing education, managing the AZ MERGs, and growing relationships that create and enhance diversity and inclusion among staff, patients, and our community.

Kara is a member of the Mayo Clinic Values Council Research Committee, the AZ Executive ODI Committee, Gender Disparities Task Force, Joy & Well-being Committee, and more.

Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, Kara held numerous leadership positions in health care, including Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University. She holds a BA in psychology from The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing her MBA.
