2021 Conference Session:
Jazz: 100 Years of Innovation Through Disruption and Inclusion
Kjirsten Mickesh is co-founder and CEO of ConnectHuman, a startup with a mission to create human connection that improves well-being and optimizes performance — for individuals, families, and organizations. She started ConnectHuman because she understands the power of connectedness at home, school, work, and in life. In a world with constant change, an increasing reliance on technology for work, play, and communication, and pressure to do more with less, better and faster, human connection has decreased at a time when it is needed most.
Kjirsten has been a student of human and organizational behavior for more than two decades, having led all aspects of human resources at global companies in multiple industries, with focus in integrated talent solutions, D&I, change/transformation, and culture and engagement. She spent 15 years at General Mills where she designed and implemented innovative workplace and global learning and development programs that are still in place today.
Kjirsten’s speaking experience includes local and national conferences, including The Forum on Workplace Inclusion and Working Mother – Work Life Congress, as well as Fortune 500 companies. In addition to speaking, workshops, and consulting, she is an ICF-certified coach with a specialized certification in social and emotional intelligence coaching.
Kjirsten is known for her courageous leadership and ability to address complex opportunities with focus and alignment to achieve differential results. Her approach to building relationships allows her to create boundaryless partnerships and collaboration. She invites others to engage in unconstrained thinking, exploration of diverse ideas, and constructive conflict to develop better solutions, increase engagement, and build trust.
