Lee has spent most of his professional career working with statewide nonprofits developing capacity building programs so organizations can deliver services to a larger community. He has concentrated on finding creative community based solutions to social issues and is constantly building a collaborative professional community. Lee is currently the Executive Director of the Strommen Center for Meaningful Work at Augsburg University. His professional pathway has been oriented to addressing serious and meaningful issues within communities and has drawn upon his ability to work within complex systems, connect and mobilize people and resources, and build relationships.

Lee has over a decade of public speaking, training and facilitation experience. He has assisted in developing curriculum for organizations as well as delivering curriculum and workshops. Lee is also a seasoned facilitator and has worked with many different communities to develop action plans to address social issues. He finds joy in supporting groups as they struggle and eventually succeed in finding solutions and answers to their community and organizational issues.

In the past Lee has been the Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships for the James J. Hill Center as well as the Executive Director for a startup nonprofit called The Work Space.
