Leigh Morrison is a Learning & Innovation manager at The Winters Group, Inc. In this role, Leigh is responsible for supporting the development and research for The Winters Group learning experiences and resources. Leigh is passionate about the potential for education in its many forms to advance equity. Specific interests include increasing accessibility of education for students of color; promoting culturally relevant learning as a tool for individual and community empowerment; and leveraging strong educational practices to design equity and inclusion-related education that is accessible, impactful, and enduring.
Prior to this role, Leigh served as a program coordinator and academic support professional at Grand Rapids Community College, a program evaluation intern at 826michigan, and a workshop designer and facilitator at the University of Michigan Program on Intergroup Relations.
A graduate of Wellesley College, Leigh holds an undergraduate degree in gender studies, with a concentration of Intersectionality of Race, Class, Gender, and Sexuality. Leigh also earned her Master of Arts in educational studies from the University of Michigan School of Education.
