Webinar: Eight Strategies for Creating a More Inclusive Volunteer Program

Lisa Joyslin is the Inclusive Volunteerism Program manager at the Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration (MAVA). Her work is focused on learning how to dismantle structural racism in volunteerism to better engage volunteers of color with both nonprofit and government organizations.

Lisa has worked in the field of volunteer engagement for nearly 15 years, including four years as the Volunteer Services officer for the Red Cross Minnesota Region. She has also held positions with multiple volunteer centers, including Community Thread, HandsOn Twin Cities, and Chicago Cares. Lisa holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
