Mareisha Reese

Mareisha N. Reese (she/her/hers) is a xennial Black woman who serves as chief operating officer at The Winters Group, Inc. In this role, she manages and handles the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring it runs like a well-oiled machine.

In a previous life, Mareisha worked as a software engineer where she was often one of the only (Black) women in her workspaces. The biases and microaggressions that came along with that developed a passion within for diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice work.

Mareisha is a graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor of Science in computer science, Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, and the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business with dual master’s degrees in business administration and information systems.
