Melanie Muñoz is a huge proponent of changing the way corporations, governments, and other organizations do business by being more inclusive. Melanie is the Manager of Strategic Partnerships and a Senior Consultant at The Kaleidoscope Group (KG), a full-service Diversity and Inclusion consulting firm based out of Chicago, IL. The Kaleidoscope Group’s vision as an organization is to Free the Human Potential. This is at the core of what they do every day. At The Kaleidoscope Group, they live their work and ensure that each of their staff and associates not only reach their own full potential but empower them to support their clients to be more diverse, equitable, and create inclusive cultures.

At KG, Melanie specializes in managing Strategic Alliance Partnerships for the firm by developing relationships with external alliance partners, platforms, and associations. This allows her to help establish new avenues for servicing clients and innovative solutions to bring to market. Alongside developing the partnership sector of the firm, Melanie also serves as a Senior Consultant and facilitator by providing strategic guidance, development, and facilitating educational workshops on various topics of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Some of the clients that she has had the pleasure of supporting in their DEI efforts include Major League Baseball, Milwaukee Brewers, Discover Financial, Museum of Science and Industry, various non-profit organizations, and Ulta Beauty.

Melanie is a proud graduate of The University of Toledo in Toledo, OH where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Business and recently earned her Masters of Arts degree in Psychology with a focus in Diversity and Inclusion leadership, Organizational Development and Social Psychology from Cleveland State University in 2019.

Aside from her role at KG, she also serves as the President for Prospanica Chicago, an association of Latinx professionals, and leads a ministry of 400+ faith-focused Chicago young professionals with an interest in personal development and building community through her church, People Church Chicago. Her non-profit board involvement has allowed her to raise funds for Latinx advancement programs and lead Prospanica’s annual Summer Enrichment Program which provides professional development and college readiness for Black and Latino high school students in the Chicagoland area. Melanie was recently named one of Chicago’s 40 Latinos under 40, highlighting her achievements in the community and as an upcoming leader in Chicago.

When not trailblazing through the ever-changing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion industry, you can find Melanie traveling globally, networking, and volunteering as a mentor and leader in her church community.
