Micah Ragland

Micah Ragland serves as director of Global Communications for Walmart, Inc., where he helps to lead the retailer’s external communications and stakeholder engagement strategies on its sustainability and renewable energy efforts.

Prior to joining Walmart, Micah served as the associate administrator for Public Engagement and Environmental Education at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Previously, he worked as former President Barack Obama’s Northeast political director.

Micah, 41, is a native of Flint, Mich., and received his bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College and his law degree from North Carolina Central University. He and his wife, Ryane LeCesne, reside in Bentonville, Ark., with their daughter, Ryane Lucille, and dog, Cooper.
