Minda Harts is the founder and CEO of The Memo, LLC, a career development company for women of color. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s in business administration.
Minda has more than a decade of fundraising and sales experience and has been part of successful fundraising campaigns at The University of Texas at Austin, UCLA, and Duke. In 2016, she was nominated as a Change Maker at The White House State of Women Summit. Minda established an endowed scholarship for women of color at Western Illinois University in 2017 and serves as a mentor at General Assembly in New York City. She supports organizations like The New York Humane Society and Compassion International and is an alumnus of The Points of Light Civic Accelerator.
Recently, Minda signed a book deal with Seal Press, part of The Hachette Book Group, to write a career book for women of color to debut in Spring 2019. She conducts workshops and gives keynotes at organizations like Time Inc., SXSW, The Campaign for Black Male Achievement, and The New York Public Library. You can also hear Minda speak at universities such as NYU Stern, North Carolina A&T, and Cornell. She has been featured in Forbes Magazine, Essence Magazine, The Guardian, Black Enterprise, Lenny Letter, Fast Company, and The Huffington Post. Minda is also the host of a career podcast called, “Secure The Seat,” on Apple Podcasts.
