Nikki Lasley has nearly 20 years of professional experience focused on improving opportunity for underserved communities. She is currently Diversity sr. program officer, VP for Bank of the West where she focuses on recruiting, learning, culture, and employee engagement. Prior to joining Bank of the West, she served as interim executive director of Peralta Colleges Foundation where she raised $250K in nine months for student scholarships and apprenticeships.

Nikki spent most of her career in education philanthropy and management including leading education initiatives at Salesforce.org, managing the organization’s education strategy, and implementation of Salesforce.org’s largest STEM and education grants; and at GreatSchools where she worked to increase awareness of school quality and the importance of parent engagement. Nikki also served as the director of programs and assessment for the Stanford-sponsored charter school in East Palo Alto, Calif., and at the Stupski Foundation supporting district-wide reform across the country. She has also served on several nonprofit organization boards, including Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo, Foundation for a College Education, and MESA (UCOP).

Nikki earned a bachelor’s degree in political theory from University of California, Santa Cruz, and a master’s degree in education policy and management from the University of Connecticut.
