2022 Conference Session: Is It Possible to Activate Allyship for a Global Workforce? Tools from LinkedIn’s Allyship Program (S2-D)

Nuhamin Woldemariam (she/her) is currently a senior manager on the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIBs) team at LinkedIn. Her work is focused on creating an environment of belonging across the global enterprise through programs, resource development, and strategic advising.

She has made an impact with the launch of three critical programs—Allyship Academy, Inclusive Leadership for Managers, and Inclusive Practices for Individual Contributors. She comes with an impressive portfolio of work as a DIBs practitioner with experience in learning and development, employee engagement strategy, and consulting.

Nuhamin started her career in advertising at Leo Burnett focusing on training and diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts. Her next role was at PwC as a Learning Consultant and Instructional Designer, developing training solutions for global clients across industries. She then transitioned to a full time D&I practitioner role at U.S. Cellular, responsible for managing D&I projects across the enterprise and leading the ERG ecosystem prior to joining LinkedIn.

Outside of work, Nuhamin is earning her MBA at Berkeley Haas School of Business and enjoying outdoor activities.
