Dr. Samreen Vora is a Board-Certified Emergency Physician working in the emergency room of an Adult Level I Trauma Center and a Pediatric Level I Trauma Center. She works as an emergency room attending physician supervising medical students, medical residents, pediatric EM fellows, and Physician Assistant residents. In addition, Dr. Vora is the Medical Director overseeing all simulations across the Children’s Minnesota Simulation Program. She completed a two-year fellowship in Simulation and Medical Education and has worked on a national task force collaborative to develop a curriculum standard for training EM simulation fellows. Dr. Vora has completed all course work for a Masters in Health Professions Education and is in the process of completing her thesis for a MHPE. Dr. Vora’s research has focused on various aspects within simulation and medical education spanning from educational strategies to implicit bias within simulation. Dr. Vora is currently mentoring multiple research projects focused on Simulation-Based Mastery Learning (SBML), Outreach Simulation, and Caregiver Simulation.
