Sidney Van Dyke, MA, is the director of Health Equity and Language Access at Regions Hospital, where she has worked for the past 24 years. In her role, she partners with hospital leaders to develop and deliver on a comprehensive health equity strategy. She is also the system director for Interpreter Services for HealthPartners, the largest consumer-governed nonprofit health care organization in the nation.
Sidney brings to both roles significant international experience, expertise in strategic planning and the use of quality improvement methods to address health care disparities, and a passion for learning and development, especially related to diversity, equity, inclusion and leadership.
Sidney is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory and holds an MA in organizational leadership from St. Catherine University, where she also spent 10 years as an adjunct graduate instructor teaching courses on research design and inclusive leadership.
Sidney speaks Indonesian and loves durian fruit, both rare for a native Minnesotan.
