Tate Lockwood (he/they) is a senior Specialized Client Care Services representative with the New Business Contact Center at Northwestern Mutual. He has been with the company since 2019, starting with the Integrated Website Services team as a contractor and becoming hired there later that year. Due to a healthcare background and a love of data analysis, his interest shifted toward underwriting. In taking steps toward that goal, he joined the New Business Contact Center last July and has since advanced in the ranks to a senior level within the department.
Tate became a member of the PRIDE employee resource group at Northwestern Mutual immediately upon full-time employee status. Always looking forward to opportunities to work within the group, he has spoken on two separate panels (“Pronouns Matter” and “How to Be a Better Trans Ally”) as well as contributed to a trans-inclusive workplace training and even submitted a recorded personal story for the episodic video series, “Pride @ NM.”
In his free time, Tate can often be found in his home near Milwaukee, Wisc., spending time with his wife and two cats, playing guitar or video games, and cooking.
