Victor Zhao

Victor Z. Zhao is a data science actuary at Cigna, a global health service company, where he builds AI-powered predictive models to enhance traditional business processes. Passionate about personal development and community empowerment, he is an active member of Cigna’s ASPIRE ERG, a resource group dedicated to uplifting Asian/South Asian colleagues, customers and local communities.

Having founded the ERG’s Pennsylvania regional chapter, Victor led a team to establish numerous diversity and inclusion programs. Most recently, they launched the award-winning ERG Innovation Tournament, an intrapreneurial program to promote grassroots innovation across the enterprise. As ASPIRE’s first Chief Innovation Catalyst, Victor is building a holistic program to strengthen innovation education and incubation within Cigna.

Victor graduated magna cum laude from Temple University where he studied actuarial science and computer science. He lives in New York City and loves reading, traveling, working out, and blogging at WeZBest.com.
