2022 Scholarships

Who is eligible?

If you are a student, unemployed individual, individuals with a passion for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in their respective communities, or an employee of a small business/nonprofit with a budget of $5 million or less, you may apply for a scholarship to attend the annual conference. Verification of eligibility is required, and scholarships are not awarded to Augsburg students.

Scholarship applications are reviewed by the Forum staff. Awards are based on merit and need. If you are selected for a Forum scholarship, you will be notified via email with a special registration discount code.

What is available?

Thanks to generous sponsorships by Ameriprise, Nike, and The Winter’s Group, scholarships are available for awardees to attend all three days of the 2022 conference ($1,000 value) at no charge. We allow no more than two scholarship recipients per organization.

NEW! The Jordan M. Roberge Memorial Scholarship

Thanks to generous donations and support during our 2021 Give to the Max Day campaign, we are able to offer this scholarship to one recipient who has demonstrated a commitment to uplifting their community through volunteer work. This is in addition to our other scholarship opportunities.

What happens if I am awarded a scholarship?

Scholarship awardees will be contacted by The Forum via email and given a special registration discount code. We will notify awardees on a rolling basis as applications are received and reviewed. There are a limited number of scholarships available – not all who apply will be awarded.

This year, in addition to our traditional scholarships, we are proud to offer the Jordan M. Roberge Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded to one recipient who has demonstrated a commitment to uplifting their community through volunteer work.

When is the scholarship application deadline?

All applications are due by April 1, 2022, 11:59 PM CST.
